Berlin hosts ‘State of Survival City Tour’’ event

FunPlus, a leading mobile game developer and publisher, and its KingsGroup studio hosted the ‘State of Survival City Tour’’ event in Berlin on June 25. Fans of the mobile free-to-play game had the opportunity to immerse themselves in an extreme survival experience with themed activities based on the apocalyptic world of State of Survival, amazing prizes and the opportunity to engage with the developers behind their favorite game.

The event was held in an unprecedented location: the iconic Teufelsberg completely remodeled to represent a zombie apocalyptic scenario taken from the game. Between the dark and sinuous walls of Teufelsberg, players had the chance to participate in a personalized Escape Room experience and a quiz based on State of Survival, both rewarded with great prizes such as Huawei Band 4 Pro and Freebuds 4i. The State of Survival dev team also had the chance to answer some of the questions raised by the German community, engaging with them and taking note of their suggestions.

The event was an opportunity to celebrate some of the great milestones achieved by State of Survival, which hit 1.4 Million new installs from the German-speaking community in 2021 (with an average of 200,000 new  players in the region each month). The German community has been particularly engaged with 199,436,967 zombies killed, 103,388,723,313 troops trained and 260,355,851,608,438 units of food collected.

State of Survival had a phenomenal 2021 and we were excited to be able to celebrate this event in person with our beloved community”, said Enric Cabestany, Vice President, Publishing for Europe and LATAM in FunPlus. “We hope that this event will be the first of many around the world, and are grateful to have had the opportunity to better get to know this passionate community of State of Survival players.

State of Survival is available on both iOS and Android.
