With AMD latest graphics cards facing stock issues, the latest Speedster MERC319 series custom RDNA 2 based Radeon 6000 cards from XFX are now available to purchase online in the UAE at Gear-up.me, Mirrorless.com, and Amazon.ae.
The new graphics cards include the XFX Speedster MERC319 Radeon RX 6800 Black, the XFX Speedster MERC319 Radeon RX 6800 XT Black, and the XFX Speedster MERC319 Radeon RX 6900 XT Ultra. The RX6800 model is priced at 3669 AED, the 6800XT model for 4539 AED, and the fastest 6900XT for 6599 AED (All prices are VAT inclusive).
The new range of Speedster GPUs features XFX’s new Ghost Thermal design that helps to keep the card cool, along with a straight-through airflow that helps to improve the cooling. There are three double ball bearing fans with 13 blades each to boost the total airflow for a quieter and long-lasting operation. This also increases endurance and efficiency by reducing the friction heat.
The new Speedster MERC319 Radeon RX 6800 series also uses the new 6-piece/7piece copper heat pipes for better efficiency of heat transfer from the GPU. The cards also feature aluminum backplate heat spreader on the rear side. XFX has also implemented more number of thermal pads throughout the card, including on VRM’s, memory chips, and the GPU silicon. The Speedster MERC319 Radeon RX 6800 Black has a DUAL BIOS switch for modes such as “Balanced” for optimal performance, and “Stealth”. The Speedster MERC319 Radeon RX 6800 XT card also comes with a Dual BIOS switch with “Stealth” and “Rage” modes. These modes uses different GPU clocks.
The MERC319 Radeon RX 6800 Black uses a 10+1 Phase Power Design, as compared to the reference AMD Radeon RX 6800’s 7+1 phase power design. The faster MERC319 Radeon RX 6800 XT Black uses a 14+2 phase power design. The Balanced BIOS modes of the Speedster MERC319 Radeon RX 6800 XT Black features 1900 MHz as the base clock, 2090 MHz for game clocks, and 2340 MHz speed for boost clocks. The Rage BIOS mode offers 1925 MHz speeds for the base clocks, 2110 MHz speeds for game clocks, and 2360 MHz speeds for boost GPU clocks.
The new XFX Speedster MERC319 AMD Radeon RX 6800 Black comes with 3840 stream processors and the Speedster MERC319 AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT Black features 4608 stream processors. For the faster XFX Speedster MERC319 Radeon RX 6900XT Ultra, the number of stream processors is 5120. With the primary BIOS, the base clock goes up to 1925 MHz, the game clocks up to 2105 MHz, and boost clocks up to 2340 MHz speeds. All three new cards come equipped with 16GB GDDR6 memory, 256-bit memory bus and 16Gbps as the memory clock.
