Sunny Narain, Vice President and Regional Sales for Middle East & Africa at XFX, speaks to Anita Joseph about the launch of their new Graphic Cards AMD NAVI Series, which is based on AMD’s 7-nanometer GPU architecture, a new technology breakthrough that will enhance the user experience for gamers. With this launch XFX becomes the first and perhaps the only company in the Middle East to offer ready for new graphic cards for gamers in the region.
In a big boost to the gaming scene in the MENA region, XFX, a division of the Hong-Kong-based Pine Technology Holdings Limited, will be launching the highly anticipated AMD NAVI Series on the 7th of July (7/7).. Building on AMD’s recently announced 7-nanometer Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), the new cards – 5700XT and 5700 will be launched at par with the Global launch date along with stock availability in the region.
Sunny Narain, Vice-President, XFX, Regional Sales said AMD’s 7 nanometer chipset represented a breakthrough in the gaming industry, not only for its design and performance but also for its power efficiency. “In a market where new technology creates new demand, the chipset promises to drive fresh growth and enhance the overall interest,” he told Games MEA.
XFX has been a strategic partner of AMD since 2009, following which the focus has been on XFX AMD Radeon designed graphic cards. The company has been heavily investing in R&D to stay on top of market trends and ensure that customers get the best experience.
“In a market that is growing fast, we need to innovate and come up with new products that redefine the gaming experience, as customers always look for something new,” Narain said. “With so much competition around, end users are looking for more and better functionalities, and the launch of the new graphic cards is a huge step in that direction,” he said.
