STUDIOCANAL and Cation Arts announced the development of Terminator 2: The Board Game, an officially licensed tabletop experience based on James Cameron’s iconic 1991 film, Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The game is scheduled to launch via crowdfunding in 2026, bringing one of the most celebrated action films of all time to the world of modern board gaming.
Designed for both hobby gamers and fans of the Terminator franchise, Terminator 2: The Board Game will immerse players in the fight for humanity’s future. Players will relive the tension of being hunted by the T-1000 as they attempt to save the world. Each player will play as one of the Heroes of the movie (John, Sara or the T-800) as they follow their own journeys, fighting their way to survival and victory.
The game comes to life through beautiful artwork and tight gameplay mechanics that allow for tactical decision-making and risk-taking.
