Tamatem to publish Korean game I Love Mart in Arabic

Tamatem, the leading mobile games publisher in the Arabic speaking market, is set to publish I Love Mart a mobile game developed by a Korea based developers NokNok. Both Tamatem and NokNok will work hand-in-hand to localize I Love Mart into Arabic to become Bandar’s Farm which will be released this August.

“I truly believe that our users will really enjoy Bandar’s Farm,” Hussam Hammo, CEO of Tamatem said. “The game offers an experience like no other and we are looking forward to a fruitful partnership with NokNok.”

Bandar’s Farm is a casual-family game that allows players to build, manage and expand their own supermarket as well as grow and sell ingredients in a farm. The localized Arabic version of the game will be available for both iOS and Android in August.

The MENA (Middle East and North Africa) mobile gaming market is expected to become a $2.3 billion industry by 2022. Currently, the market is underserved, with less than 1% of games on the app stores available in Arabic. With this new partnership, Tamatem Inc. and NokNok will work towards enriching the iOS and Google Play stores with more Arabic games through publishing Bandar’s Farm.

“We hope more people enjoy the familiar theme of Bandar’s Farm,” Si-Jin Park, CEO of NokNok said. “There are many female users who play this game in Korea and we hope female users from MENA will enjoy it as well.”
