Review: Epomaker P75 Wireless Gaming Keyboard

User Rating: 8.9

Epomaker recently released several premium-level gaming keyboards, including the new Epomaker P75. We got a chance to try out this fantastic keyboard, and here are our thoughts about it.

Design

The Epomaker P75 is designed to give users the feel of a premium gaming keyboard, thanks to its full aluminum design, and its anodized finish that adds to the durability of the device. Epomaker also mentions that the minimalistic aesthetic design does not have any visible brand logos on the front or sides. The keyboard is based on a 75% layout, featuring a total of 81 keys and one knob for media controls.

The P75 comes in two colors that include Silver and Black Pink. As you can see, we got the Black Pink version for review. The keyboard also comes with the Cherry Profile Double Shot PBT keycaps, which are easy to type on, and the RGB backlight effects are backed with south-facing LEDs. The keyboard also features N-key rollover, which helps in more accurate inputs without delays.

Other features of the keyboard include NKRO anti-ghosting. We should also mention that the knob on the P75 is also made of metal, which adds to the premium feel of the keyboard.

On the rear side of the keyboard, there is the slot that houses the WiFi dongle, along with the switch for wired, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth modes. There is also a USB-C port, next to the mode switch.

The back side of the keyboard comes with the Epomaker engraving. While the keyboard does not come with adjustable feet, the aluminum chassis is designed in a slanting position at a 6-degree angle for a comfortable typing experience.

The contents of the package include the P75 keyboard, a USB-C cable, user manual, keycap and switch puller, and some extra switches and spare keycaps.

The keyboard comes with hot-swappable PCB for custom switches, and the P75 are sold with a choice of either Epomaker Zebra, Epomaker Wisteria Linear or Tactile switches. We got the Zebra switches with our P75 review sample.

As we have seen with other Epomaker keyboards, the new P75 also features a 5-layer sound dampening material chassis, along with a PC plate. The sound dampening materials include a sandwich form, the IXPE switch film, the PET sound pad, a sound-absorbing form, and an EVA case form. The implementation of these materials will help reduce the rattling sounds and pings, while providing a refined typing experience. The Gasket Mount also helps to produce a better-sounding keyboard, while the typing experience is also refined.

The P75 is one of the best Epomaker keyboards that I have tried till date. The typing experience is just amazing, and the keyboard, and its Zebra switches sounds really good. Take a look of how the P75 sounds from the video below.
