Retro games streaming service Antstream to be unveiled

The countdown has begun for old-school gaming fans, new online retro games streaming service Antstream, will be unveiled at PLAY Expo London in just over two weeks time. This is the world’s first retro game streaming subscription service, is scheduled to launch in late 2018 with over 1000 of your favourite games from the arcades, consoles and home computers. Not only is Antstream bringing these iconic games to a new audience, they have been enhanced with brand new multiplayer challenges, online leaderboards and achievements.

Gamers will just need to download the app to access all their favourite retro titles, and then play across multiple devices, with one account. The Antstream app will be available from late 2018 on Android & Windows, allowing play with controllers, keyboards or touchscreens, on tablets or PC. Giving gamers access to any game in the Antstream library, at any time, with no limits.

As a world exclusive, PLAY Expo will be hosting a dedicated Antstream area, allowing gamers and press to take part in an exclusive hands-on demo.

Antstream CEO and founder Steve Cottam said: “Antstream is going to be a game changer. When you mix the best, most loved games of all time with state-of-the-art streaming technology, exciting things happen. You’ve never seen anything like Antstream before, it is the evolution of retro gaming.”

Antstream will be unveiled at PLAY Expo on Saturday August 11th at London’s Printworks, SE16. PLAY Expo London runs from 10am until 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
