MPL Singapore Season 8 Qualifiers:

Defending champions, NIP Flash, earned their spot at the MSC 2024 after clinching their back-to-back MPL Singapore title in Season 7. The team did the nation proud by placing in the top four of the international tournament before bowing out to the MSC 2024 champions, Selangor Red Giants, who boast an unbeaten streak of 107 days and counting. The last time a Singaporean team made it to the top four of an international MLBB competition was during the M3 World Championship in 2021, when EVOS SG placed fourth.

Speaking on his team’s top four finish and his hopes for the Singaporean esports landscape, captain Yeo “Diablo” Wee Lun, said: “This is just the beginning of our journey and it is not the end for us. I hope that other Singaporean teams will improve to make our local scene more competitive. If we want to catch up with other regions, we cannot stop and we need to keep moving forward!”

NIP Flash’s success at the MSC 2024 marks a significant milestone for Singapore as they reignite hope for national representatives at future international esports tournaments.
