HUAWEI AppGallery has teamed up with Top Battle Royale Game to present an exciting AppGallery Gamers Cup (AGC) 2024 event in Baghdad. Committed to providing unique experiences for gamers, AppGallery hosted an epic offline tournament at the popular Dijlah Village on the 28th of June, with the sponsorship of Viu, the leading pan-regional over-the-top video streaming service, and Supercell, the Iraq Network Provider.
With over 700 attendees and 240 competitive players battling for a share of the impressive $20,000 prize pool, AGC provided the ideal stage to display their gaming passion. Additionally, winners were honoured with incredible prizes. In addition to the live gaming action that was streamed online across social channels, the event’s Entertainment Zone provided a continuous stream of activities and a vibrant photo wall capturing moments from the day. Attendees at AGC also had the chance to get hands-on time with the newest Huawei smartphones, tablets, and wearables, at the event.
William Hu, Managing Director of Huawei Consumer Business Group, Middle East and Africa Eco Development and Operation, said: “The rapidly growing popularity of AGC events in Iraq and across the Middle East, and Africa fills us with excitement and joy, underscoring HUAWEI AppGallery’s dedication to delivering unparalleled online and offline gaming experiences to the avid gaming community in the region.
