Google partners with Ubisoft for video game streaming

Google and Ubisoft have partnered with each other for incorporating Project Stream to solve some existing challenges with streaming. In a statement Ubisoft said, Our partnership with them will help drive this work forward by using Assassin’s Creed Odyssey as the foundation for the test. The incredible visual fidelity of its world combined with the mechanical demands of being a Spartan mercenary in Ancient Greece make Assassin’s Creed Odyssey the perfect candidate to push Project Stream to its limits.

The gaming company further said, “Our teams in Quebec City and our studios around the world that contributed to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey are thrilled to be a part of this opportunity to advance Google’s research into streaming technology. Only a select few will be participating in Project Stream, but everyone can experience the journey of either Alexios or Kassandra when Assassin’s Creed Odyssey launches October 5 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.”
