Middle East Games Con, the region’s premier gaming festival, will take place from October 25th – 27th at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) where gaming fans from across all platforms whether PC, console, mobile or even table-top gaming. The event is expected to be an exciting with the best and latest in previews, technology, competitions and showcases from the global and regional gaming industry. Enthusiasts will also have lot to check out including the latest global trends, game development and design from regional and international experts and the latest in technology innovations such as virtual reality and much more.
Doug Cockle is an American actor and director has worked extensively in the video games industry and is primarily known for his work as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher video game series as well as Horizon Zero Dawn and Division. Doug has been the voice of Geralt since the series began in 2007 and has been nominated for several awards for his work with this character. He
Doug will be at Middle East Games Con on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th October 2018, and will be on stage at multiple points participating in interviews and live entertainment. DELL Gaming have confirmed a massive Fortnite Challenge to take place at Middle East Games Con, totalling over AED10,000 in prizes and 5000 VBucks, the games digital currency used to purchase the latest skins, emotes and Battlepass. Split into three skill-based categories to make sure all players can take part, the challenges include; a Build a Fort Challenge, recognising skills in game landscape design and creativity; The Ultimate Floss Meister, offering fans the opportunity to get active and show off their unique dance skills by replicating the world-famous move; and last but not least The SOLO Champ, LAN Tournament at the event, registrations are now open – all participants are required to purchase an admission ticket to Middle East Games Con to participate and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The challenge is organised by the team at Gamers Hub Middle East on behalf of DELL Gaming.
