Final preparations are underway for the World Finals of the V10 R League in Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi on the 22nd and 23rd July. Following five weeks of competitive qualifications, the four teams to have secured their places in the live semi-finals are Yas Heat, Team Redline, R8G esports, and Mercedes-AMG esports.
Produced by Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management (ADMM) and Gfinity, and facilitated by partnerships with Miral Group, Abu Dhabi Gaming and Etihad Airways, this year’s season finale will be one of the first in esports globally to return to in person competition in front of live audiences since the Covid crisis hit in 2020. The teams for the 2022 season have already competed over five weeks of online group matches, all vying for a share of the of a £100,000 prize pool.Set for high drama and wheel-to-wheel racing, spectators are encouraged to head to down to Yas Mall to witness the exciting live action during the semi-finals, bronze medal match, and the pinnacle event, the grand finale later this week. Semi-final action gets underway at 6pm on Friday 22nd July, whilst action kicks off at 2.30pm on Saturday 23rd July, with the Grand Final penned for a 7pm start.
