Garena ropes in Egyptian rapper Ahmed Santa for Free Fire MAX

Garena announced today that after its successful launch in the MENA region earlier this year, Free Fire MAX has now gone global. To mark the global launch, Free Fire has launched the song “To the MAX” across the globe.

The Arabic version of the song has been sung by promising Egyptian rapper Ahmed Santa. Santa’s rise over the last six years has put him front and center of an increasingly rich and prolific rap scene in Egypt with his tracks and videos garnering millions of plays and views.

The Free Fire MAX, the standalone mobile application, offers players the same Free Fire gameplay that many across the world have grown to know and love, but with enhanced specifications.

Free Fire MAX will offer users around the world an optimised Free Fire experience with enhanced graphics and features, and an in-app customisable map feature. Free Fire MAX players will be able to enjoy the same Free Fire content and gameplay, with enhanced graphics and features, this includes more realistic maps, more immersive gameplay, and Free Fire MAX-exclusive features.

The global launch also coincided with a new update for both Garena Free Fire and Garena Free Fire MAX which brings along a bunch of improvements including weapon and balance adjustment, characters’ skills adjustment. New characters, new weapon and pets will also be coming very soon to Free Fire.

The collaboration with Santa is part of Garena’s commitment towards delivering relevant and localised content through collaborations with a local artist.

Free Fire MAX is supported by Firelink technology, Free Fire’s in-house technology which enables complete interoperability between Free Fire MAX and Free Fire. This will enable players to:

  • Use their same existing Free Fire account to login to Free Fire MAX.
  • Sync all accounts data – including account progress and game items – across both applications.
  • Play all game modes with all Free Fire players, regardless of the application that they use.
