Emirates Park Zoo and Resort Debuts its Zoo Zip and Climb

Families can soon join in on the fun at Emirates Park Zoo and Resort by getting a glimpse of a portion of the park while swinging through the air. Zoo Zip and Climb, Emirates Park Zoo and Resort’s newest addition, gives children and adults alike a first- hand experience of what it’s like to tiptoe through tight quarters while suspended in the air.

The attraction opens to the public in April. Exclusive guests can preview the attraction starting March 25. The Fun Games Operation Manager Shereen Gomal Ali said, “The course offers a unique way to enjoy all that the zoo has to offer. As you traverse the line, you can appreciate our residents of the petting zoo and the richness of the nature from a different viewpoint.”

Zoo officials have gone to great lengths to ensure that families can participate in the Zoo Zip & Climb experience in a safe manner. Before you walk up the wooden stairs to begin the ropes course, step into a full body harness and the staff will tighten it for you and secure a sling line to the front of your chest. The harness protects the user from falling no matter how thin or wobbly the course gets.

Zoo officials worked with the establishment to create a separate trail for adults The Big Adventure and the Junior Climb for children. The feature covers the expanse of the petting zoo that houses more than 20 species of animals. “The Big Adventure circuit consists of 2 zones and each zone have a zip line ending. The Junior Climb is the perfect escapade to create a loving relationship between children and nature. It contains 22 gaming steps and 2 zip lines,” concluded Ali.

Admission to the Zoo Zip and Climb Junior Climb and the Big Adventure can be purchased as an add on to the Emirates Park Zoo admission for AED 55 that permits two laps and AED 100 for one lap that covers two zones respectively.
