Amjad “AngryBird” Alshalabi becomes the first-ever Street Fighter 6 Evo champion

NASR Esports today announced that its very own Amjad “AngryBird” Alshalabi has made history by becoming the first-ever Street Fighter 6 Evo champion. AngryBird treated fans to amazing performances throughout the tournament, defeating some of the best players in the world such as Sonic Fox, Mamochi, Fujimura, Kakeru, PunkDaGod, and finally MenaRD in the grand-final, showcasing his dominant Ken and cementing his place as the best Street Fighter 6 player in the world. NASR Esports is part of Kaspersky’s global “Fearless Gaming” initiative, aimed at elevating cybersecurity literacy among gamers.

Evo is the biggest and most prestigious fighting game tournament in the world, attracting tens of thousands of players and spectators from all over the globe. After fighting his way through a record-breaking 7,083 player bracket, he became the first-ever Street Fighter 6 Evo Champion. Becoming the champion in such a competitive environment is a testament to AngryBird’s skill and dedication, earning the admiration and respect of his peers and rivals, as the best Street Fighter 6 player in the world.

AngryBird is one of the most talented and creative players in the Street Fighter scene. He started his competitive career in 2017, and quickly rose to prominence with his impressive results in many tournaments, both online and offline. He is also a two-time champion of the US Pro Street Fighter League, a prestigious league featuring some of the top teams and players in the world. He is a key member of NASR ESPORTS’ legendary Street Fighter team, alongside Adel “BigBird” Anouche, also a world-class player in his own right.
