After declaring its departure from Dell in the earlier this month, Frank Azor, the co-founder of Alienware, has joined AMD as the Corporate VP and Chief Architect Gaming Solutions where he will be spearheading the charge to develop new gaming roadmap and expand on company’s cross-platform gaming efforts.
Commenting on Azor’s joining the AMD, the Lisa Su said, “Extremely happy to welcome @AzorFrank on his very first day @AMD. Frank is a powerhouse in the industry and we are thrilled to have him as our new chief architect of gaming solutions. Welcome Frank!!”
Azor is a gaming icon across the industry with a long and successful track record of gaming at Dell and Alienware. He will now be reporting to Sandeep Chennakeshu, head of AMD’s computing and graphics group.
