Activision developing Call of Duty Warzone for smartphones and tablets

While Warzone is perhaps the biggest game that has been created by Activision, the company has now announced its plans to release a mobile version of the game for smartphone and tablet users.

The game is simply called Call of Duty Warzone for Mobile, and according to reports, the new mobile port is developed by six studios, including Digital Legends, Beenox, demonware, Activision Shanghai and Central Tech studio, and the recently acquired Solid State Studios.

Activision did not unveil any details of the new game port, except for the fact that it will be a “large-scale, multiplayer experience is being built natively for mobile with cutting-edge technology designed to entertain gamers around the world for many years to come”. We just hope that the game will bring better graphics details and gameplay than the already popular Call of Duty Mobile that is currently available.

The company did not announce any release date for the game. However, Activision did post job requirements for different roles for the development of the game on its announcement page, so expect the development to take some time.
