Activision Blizzard has announced Season 1 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Call of Duty: Warzone, set to launch on November 6, delivering a wealth of new content across Multiplayer, DMZ, and Warzone. Before the official launch, players can celebrate Halloween with the pre-season arrival of the fan-favorite Infected mode and the new Possession experience.
Season 1 expands Multiplayer with several new maps, including Backstab, Canyon, and a reimagined version of Shoot House. Additional maps such as Ministry and Overflow are scheduled for the mid-season update, alongside more classified content. Players can also jump into Kill Block: Crash, a new experience that keeps the iconic Crash map permanently active while offering a range of core multiplayer modes.
The season introduces more than six gameplay modes, including Grind, Drop Zone, and Gauntlet 1v1, with additional modes planned throughout the season. In DMZ, Operators will infiltrate the highly secretive X01 facility, a sprawling complex filled with underground laboratories, cargo depots, dangerous threats, and hidden challenges requiring teamwork and strategy.
Across all game modes, players can unlock new weapons, including the Cronen Osprey Assault Rifle and CSG-35 SMG through the Battle Pass. Later updates will bring the JAK 12 Shotgun and ZLR Talonhawk melee weapon, along with new attachments and customization options.
Season 1 also features a 100-tier Battle Pass packed with weapon blueprints, operator skins, emotes, and other rewards. Premium BlackCell content, led by Operator XERO, offers exclusive items for players seeking the ultimate Call of Duty experience, while new seasonal events provide additional rewards and challenges throughout the season.
