VALORANT Strike Arabia connects with VALORANT Champions Tour World Finals

Riot Games MENA has unveiled its 2021 competitive roadmap for the 5v5 character-based tactical shooter, VALORANT, that is set to explore the talents and skills across the region.

VALORANT Strike Arabia will feature tournaments in North Africa, the GCC and Levant, and will crown a single regional Champion who will then advance to the Europe & MENA Last Chance Qualifiers for a spot in the VALORANT Champions Tour World Finals.

For the MENA region, Strike Arabia will be the official roadmap that is connected to the VALORANT Champions Tour roadmap. In 2021, Strike Arabia will be divided across 2 different layers. Strike Arabia Championship, which will be the pro tour directly linked to the global Champions Tour and Strike Arabia League, a semi pro roadmap.

Following two Strike Arabia Championships and three Strike Arabia Leagues, eight finalists will advance to the next stage and come together in the Strike Arabia Grand Finals, a live event that will crown one regional champion that will go on to the EMEA Last Chance Qualifiers.

“Strike Arabia is our next step to grow VALORANT in the region and make it worthy of the passion of our fans,” said Karim Hachani, Head of Publishing at Riot Games MENA. “We’ve spent the last year testing different tactics across our competitive roadmap and sat down with several teams to better understand the ecosystem. Our focus will be on elevating and showcasing the creative and talented players who are shaping this game across the MENA region. Fans and players both wanted high stakes competitions, and that’s what Strike Arabia is designed to do.”

Riot Games MENA has provided a full breakdown of the rules and tips to guide players through the roadmap, which can be viewed on the following website: www.strikearabia.playvalorant.com
