Garena reveals 12 qualified teams for the Free Fire Arab League

Garena has revealed the 12 teams from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region that will be bidding to become champions in the third edition of this weekend’s Free Fire Arab League.

Taking place on Saturday 13 March, the Grand Final will see teams from Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, and Iraq continue their quest for glory with the overall winner earning direct qualification to the Free Fire World Series Grand Finals later this year as well as a share of the USD $30,000 prize fund.

The runner-up will have another opportunity to join the champions and represent the MENA region in the international tournament if they can overcome the Free Fire World Series Play-Offs.

The 12 participating teams are DEA, VIP ESPORTS, MCES Africa, DZ_INFINITY, Star Wars, Team Melek, VIS A VIS, Black Ghost, Stars Galaxy, OVER FEAR, VIP, and Dictators. This strong line-up will surely bring you performances that will keep you at the edge of your seats in the Grand Finals.

Since the early rounds began in December 2020, the tournament has produced some closely-fought matches and with each team impressing has meant that some familiar names have missed out on the Grand Final.

For the first time in the tournament’s history, there will be no defending champions in the Grand Final stage with Season Two winners SHIFT being knocked out in the semi-finals. There is also no place for the INS Team, who twice represented the MENA region in the international championships.

Mokeddem Abd Errahmane, more widely known as INF ABDO, captain of the DZ_INFINITY is relishing the opportunity of testing himself against the MENA’s best Free Fire players.

He said “We can’t wait for the Grand Final of the Free Fire Arab League this week. Since the first round of games, we have enjoyed ourselves so far, and having reached the last stage we will do everything we can to try and win the trophy. On behalf of the team, I would also like to wish all the teams the best of luck.”

Fans across the MENA region can watch all the action live by visiting Garena Free Fire MENA’s Official YouTubeFacebook, and BOOYAH! TV channels.
